Billy's Bothy.

Billy’s Bothy is a beautifully restored historic Derbyshire self catering cottage, adapted from a previous workers cottage and bothy. The cottage is located in a quiet and peaceful pastureland setting in the grounds of our grade II listed historic farmhouse 2 miles from the pretty Market town of Ashbourne.
There are outstanding views of the Henmoor Valley, cattle and sheep graze peacefully around the cottage. Built of old red bricks, with blue hand made roof tiles there are an abundance of beams and revealed brick walls throughout. The downstairs windows are a pretty feature with elegantly curved arches over old sty openings.

This lovely peak district holiday cottage has 2 downstairs double en suite bedrooms, and 1 twin bedded en suite bedroom. There are also two upstairs double en suite bedrooms. The lounge has a double bed settee and cots and extra Z beds can be provided for those extra guests. Giving the option of sleeping 10 +4 + cots.

The main entrance is also on the downstairs ground floor level with stairs leading to the kitchen area. The farmhouse kitchen is in the centre of the house and is furnished with antique pine units with tiled and marble worktops and a pottery Belfast sink. This extremely well equipped kitchen is a pleasure to use.

The spacious lounge with cosy wood burning stove is on the 1st floor, and opens out on to a different ground level giving access to its own private patio, BBQ and cottage garden with use of our well stocked orchard.

The dining room is a delight for those cosy meals with friends, our large dining table will comfortably seat all guests. Meals can be arranged.

This delightful holiday cottage is fully centrally heated throughout with a cosy log burning stove for your
added comfort. All heating, electricity and linen is included in the price.

A gymnasium and games room will be available for your use. The gymnasium will double as a small conference room. Within 2005/6 a sauna will also be provided.
Children are most welcome but we regret that we are a NO Smoking and NO pets establishment.
